Time goes fast when your busy!
Time has gone by so fast. These past few months have been amazing and really showed me why I love rodeo queening. From the end of June till now i have be super busy. The last weekend in June was the 2011 Jr and Teen Miss Rodeo Oregon pageant and the tillamook rodeo queen pageant. Along with the tillamook rodeo, which was fun. When I took the crown off and put it on the winners hat. I had a feeling that my title was almost gone. I quckly realized that i still had the title and i had the rest of the year to have fun. The pageant is where i started riding horses that i have never riden in my life most of them I had never seen! luckly i found a horse to ride, but the problem was he wouldnt stop! Of course i made him stop and listen to me. What a weekend! So the week after the pageant was the Miss Rodeo Oregon pageant. I got to do the fashion show and the dance! I went to the St. Paul Rodeo thursday night where i rode another horse that i had never ridden before. He had a stop though, so all was good. After that i drove home then woke up the next morning to leave for Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo. I got to ride Larry, but Sunday morning he was injured so yet again i was on another horse! This one had a stop but she stopped on her front and so i really had to sit on my pockets. I had one weekend off to prepare for my home town rodeo. Larry was still injured so i rode a friends horse, who i have never riden before ethier. He was a very good horse and he was very fast. When my name was called and the announser said I was a hometown girl it felt so good to know that my whole town was cheering for me! You could deffinetly say i have had my fare share of riding many different horses with completly different personalities. Just last weekend I finally got to use my own horse Jasper, who had his first rodeo and beach expeiriance. He did very good and i am so proud of him. Stay tuned for more!
Love always,
2010 Jr. Miss Rodeo Oregon Savanah Ball
