
Roseburg, Oregon is where Ashley Zeigler calls home. She is the daughter of Barry and Debbie Zeigler, and the older sister of Cuyler Zeigler. Ashley is the 2005 graduate of Roseburg High School were she was active in the Oregon High School Rodeo Association, cheerleading, 4-H, Link Crew and church. She is a graduate of Northwest Christian University where she obtained her B.A. in Psychology.
Ashley got the chance to live out her dream of being a rodeo queen early in life, winning her first crown, Douglas County Jr. Rodeo Queen, at the tender age of 13. This was her first taste of the rodeo world. Six more titles followed after that. Along with being involved with the western way of life, Ashley has been involved in the Miss America program, where she has placed in the top 5 in all the pageants she competed in and in the Miss USA organization.
On July 1st, Ashley was crowned Miss Rodeo Oregon for the year of 2010 at the St. Paul Rodeo. Along with taking the title, she also took the Appearance award.
After her year as Miss Rodeo Oregon, Ashley plans to attend graduate school at the University of Oregon to obtain her Masters in Human Physiology and then further her education to obtain a PhD and creating a career as a Sports Psychologist working with university sports programs. In her spare time, she is actively involved in dance as a contemporary dancer, in hanging out with her family on their 600 acre ranch, attending University of Oregon Duck football games, and training her horses Gunnar and Nike.
She is excited and honored to be the representing the State of Oregon as she will be traveling over 25,000 miles throughout Oregon and the western states as the 2010 Miss Rodeo Oregon.
