The purpose of the Miss Rodeo Oregon (MRO) Judges Certification program is to certify rodeo queen pageant judges in order to ensure standardization and excellence in pageant judging, while still maintaining individuality, as well as offer assurance to pageant directors and queen advisors as to the qualifications of a judge. When an organization contracts with a MRO certified judge, they can feel confident that the judge has been trained in the qualifications for and expectations of rodeo royalty and pageant judges, including professionalism, latest trends, and all aspects of a rodeo queen pageant.

MROP Inc. strives to ensure excellent judges training and accurate recordkeeping. However, MRO does not guarantee the results of any pageant nor does it take personal responsibility for any judge or pageant results. If an organization is not satisfied with the behavior or quality of a judge, they may file an unsatisfactory evaluation or a grievance in writing.
