Fast-paced, heart-pounding, thrilling.  Three phrases describing the world’s greatest sport:  rodeo.  For this Oregon cowgirl, these phrases describe my life.  Being Miss Rodeo Oregon would give me the opportunity to share with the rest of the world my passion for this exciting sport, which is an important part of me. That ride, run or swing might not have gone as planned, but the climb to the top is not easy. This is not only true for rodeo. And you ask why I want to be Miss Rodeo Oregon. As Miss Rodeo Oregon I can inspire others to follow their dream.

The rich history, family values and integrity that characterizes rodeo provides opportunities to be a positive role model in a world where they are few and far between. Becoming Miss Rodeo Oregon, promoting the sport and giving back some of what rodeo has given me, would be an honor.

 Rodeo helps preserve our history and the traditional American values of respect, integrity, and resiliency. As a marketing representative and a role model, Miss Rodeo Oregon epitomizes these values, working diligently to promote our western heritage. I would be honored to represent Oregon and keep the cowboy spirit alive.

Miss Rodeo Oregon represents everything that I love. She is western, hard working, patriotic, and an Oregonian all wrapped up into one little lady. She does this all while exuding grace, compassion and rhinestones. Then she tears up the arena on her horse like there is not tomorrow.

Miss Rodeo Oregon is an example of grace, class, and beauty. She is held to a higher
standard and she is expected to uphold the traditions that are so deeply embedded in the
western way of life. For me to have the honor to become Miss Rodeo Oregon would give me the chance to represent the intelligence, strength, morals, and values of the greatest sport that God has bestowed on us... Rodeo!
