Meet 2012 Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon!

Hello everyone, my name is Kayla Vincent and I was selected as the 2012 Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon.  I am so excited to have my coronation on January 28, 2012 here in Madras.  It is at the Cross Keys Inn where we will be having a fabulous porkroast dinner with salads.  I will also be having a silent and live auction along with a desert dash and a Mister Teen Rodeo Oregon Contest.  Anyone is invited and tickets are $25 per ticket in advance and $30 at the door.  I am in the process of looking for sponsors and items that I can use for my coronation.  I am also working on having a new dress made to go along with my Queen colors for this year which are Chocolate brown, Mint Green, and accents of purple.  I am very excited to have my chaps done, since my neighbor is the one doing them for me.  I can’t wait to get my outfits all figured out and all of my clothing together.

I just recently purchased a new horse, a 3 year old paint mare, to do my year on.  I will still be traveling with my “Old Faithful” mare, my 21 year old quarter horse named Zan, but I bought the younger one to slowly start replacing Zan.  I cannot wait to get Hemi, my 3 year old, going and I am very excited to see how she is going to do in the parades and run-ins.  I am very excited to travel with my two best friends, my horses, and my mother to all of the different rodeos I will be attending.  I am starting to get my schedule set, and I am working on my outfits so I will be ready for my first rodeo.  Please check back regularly and remember, “Live, Laugh, Rodeo”.
