The Road to 2017 Miss Rodeo Oregon
The Road to the 2017 Miss Rodeo Oregon Title is well underway. Pageant Applications were released in late January! We have been working hard behind the scenes to plan the upcoming Pageant. Our gracious host rodeo, the Canby Rodeo presented by the Clackamas County Fair will welcome us for the seventh year!
2017 Contestants for the crown are
Kayla Vincent of Madras Ashley Nash of Eugene Samantha Henricks of Grants Pass,
Katie Schrock of Corvallis was chosen as 2016 Miss Rodeo Oregon at the sold-out Saturday night performance of the 2015 Canby Rodeo. Katie will serve as Oregon’s First Lady of Rodeo, representing the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and MROP Inc. She will be the hostess for our 2017 Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant this coming August in Canby.
As with anything horse or rodeo related it takes a substantial amount of funding, planning, and action. Our Board of Directors are all volunteers as well. Governed by a 6 member Board of Directors that are chosen by the general membership of the Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant Inc. every 2 years. Fundraising and Sponsors make this world go around each and every year for without them we would cease to operate.
One of the Pageant planning tasks that Pageant Director Amber Riesterer works on early is securing Pageant Award Package sponsorships, Pageant event sponsors, and Category Award sponsors. All donations to the Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant are tax deductible, as we are a 501c4 non-profit organization.
Our 2016 Sponsor Guide provides comprehensive information on our programs, a full history of our organization and past titleholders.
We are actively seeking sponsors for awards, pageant events, and/or product in-kind donations
