Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation

Having selected the first Miss Rodeo Oregon in 1957, the organization has continued over the years to be comprised of hardworking volunteers that help to ensure the success and expansion of the organization and its programs. Information about the program in its early years is scarce, but in recent years Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation has taken great strides in becoming a strong and successful youth oriented organization, providing a program for Oregon horsewomen that encourages positive growth in strength of character and personality, healthy attitudes, self-fulfillment and self-respect. Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation is organized and conducted to select the most qualified young Oregon horsewomen to promote the sport of rodeo in Oregon, and for Miss Rodeo Oregon to represent the state of Oregon at the annual Miss Rodeo America Pageant.

I spent last weekend in Salem, Oregon for the 2023 NPRA Finals. I had a wonderful time attending sponsor visits, a championship dinner, 3 rodeo performances and of course a Queens Brunch. Thank you to Miss NPRA Abby, who is also your 2024 MRO, for your wonderful hospitality and making this weekend so fun! The NPRA will always hold a special place in my heart as I once was Miss NPRA and I was so honored to go back to their finals as Miss Rodeo Oregon!

Next stop is the High Desert Stampede Horsemanship clinic in Redmond. Will I see you there?
