Grievance Process – Miss Rodeo Oregon

Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation Formal Complaint/Grievance Process

Any complaint that is filed regarding Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation business and/or operations (*non-state pageant) issues must adhere to the following:

1. All complaints must be submitted in writing.
2. Complaints must include the name, address, email address and daytime phone number of the person filing the complaint. Please note: Anonymous complaints will not be accepted or reviewed.
3. The complaint should include as much detail about the subject as possible to allow appropriate investigation and action to be taken.
4. Complaints may be submitted electronically to: missrodeooregonincfoundation@gmail.com. In addition, please send a hard copy to:

The grievance should be addressed to any of the following:
• Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation President
• Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation Board of Directors.

Complaints must be signed and dated, or they will not be accepted.

5. If a response to the complaint is desired, the letter must indicate so.

6. Any complaints that do not follow the above process will be classified as invalid and will not be addressed.

Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation Formal Complaint/Grievance Process Follow-Up Procedure

1. All complaints will be reviewed by the Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation Board of Directors. A Board Member will be assigned to research and gather information about the situation. All parties involved will be notified about the complaint and given the opportunity to provide a response.

2. A time frame will be established for the issue to be addressed.

3. Findings will be reported back to the Board of Directors.

4. The Board of Directors will vote and determine necessary action to be taken.

5. A Board of Director representative will report back to all parties involved.

Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation

Having selected the first Miss Rodeo Oregon in 1957, the organization has continued over the years to be comprised of hardworking volunteers that help to ensure the success and expansion of the organization and its programs. Information about the program in its early years is scarce, but in recent years Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation has taken great strides in becoming a strong and successful youth oriented organization, providing a program for Oregon horsewomen that encourages positive growth in strength of character and personality, healthy attitudes, self-fulfillment and self-respect. Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation is organized and conducted to select the most qualified young Oregon horsewomen to promote the sport of rodeo in Oregon, and for Miss Rodeo Oregon to represent the state of Oregon at the annual Miss Rodeo America Pageant.
