Historically, the Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation offers a $1500 educational scholarship to Miss Rodeo Oregon at the successful completion of her reign. The Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon and Teen Miss Rodeo Oregon titleholders each receive $100 for the successful completion of their reign.

The Scholarship Committee works year long to raise funds with the goal of continuous growth of our program. Scholarship funds are accumulated from individual donations, auctions at the Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant Scholarship Benefit, titleholder coronations, the annual raffle, and by corporate sponsors.

The Scholarship Committee was reinvigorated in January 2023 and it consists of longtime MROIF members, board members, titleholders and parents of former titleholders.

In 2023, the scholarships for the Teen and Junior Titleholders were raised to $250. In 2024, the titleholder scholarships were raised again, awarding $2,000 to Miss Rodeo Oregon and $500 to Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon and Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon!

2024 is the year of growth! The scholarship committee decided on the goal of providing more opportunities to all of our pageant contestants, even if they do not win the competition overall. Two optional scholarships were created: the Fran Christensen Memorial Scholarship and the Protect the Harvest Scholarship. In addition, category scholarships will be awarded at the 2025 Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant.
