Where we Started:

Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation offers a $1500 educational scholarship to Miss Rodeo Oregon at the successful completion of her reign.

The Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon and Teen Miss Rodeo Oregon titleholders each receive $100 for the successful completion of their reign.

Scholarship funds are accumulated from individual donations and from auctions at the Miss Rodeo Oregon and Junior Miss/Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon Pageants.

The Scholarship Committee was reinvigorated in January 2023 and it consists of longtime MROIF members (who have prioritized giving money to scholarships), board members, titleholders and parents of former titleholders.

In 2023, the committee successfully introduced auction items at coronations for the three 2023 titleholders.

Scholarship Committee Goals in 2024:

Currently, MROIF is able to award scholarships to our titleholders who win their respective competitions. The Scholarship Commitee's immediate goal includes increasing scholarship opportunities for titleholders which can be used for any opportunity that provides educational value, such as trade schools and expenses for attendance of educational seminars, not just for college tuition. Past MROIF titleholders and contestants have gone on to become doctors, veterinarians, teachers, EMTs, nurses, lawyers, and are valuable contributors to their communities.
